Ezequiel Montes Becomes Chess Hub in Mexico

Raúl Enrique Hernández Hernández, president of FENAMAC, highlighted the importance of Ezequiel Montes as a fundamental pillar for the promotion of chess in Mexico. The municipality of Ezequiel Montes has signed an agreement with the National Chess Federation of Mexico (FENAMAC), designating the municipality as the official venue for the organization of tournaments and chess activities.

"With the organization of tournaments in Ezequiel Montes, it is hoped to promote the practice of chess and consolidate its presence in the community," indicated Iván Reséndiz Ramírez, Municipal President of Ezequiel Montes. Reséndiz Ramírez emphasized that this agreement reinforces the municipality's commitment to education, culture, and sports, contributing to the intellectual development of the participants.

The agreement, signed by Ing. Ivonne Cabrera Camacho, Responsible for Tourism in Bernal, aims to promote the development of chess in the region and attract events that positively influence the local economy.
